About Me:
Married for 36 years (my wife is going straight to heaven). Two children (we were a typical, contracepting Novus Ordo couple). Daughter 35, Son deceased. John passed away in 1994 at the age of 6 after being backed over by a van in a neighbor's drive way. We have 4 wonderful grandsons ages 11, 8, 7 and almost 3 who are being raised as good Novus Ordites. Please pray for them. My wife and I have worked at Isringhausen Imports, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Volvo, in Springfield, Illinois for 33 and 28 years respectively. Cathy is our Controller. I am one of the controlled and senior salesman on a staff of 16. Mean Cathleen is retiring this March! I am destined to die at my desk supporting her in the manner to which she has become accustomed. :) Initially John Venari,, editor of Catholic Family News, alerted me to the true teachings of V2 and its Modernist promoters. Dr. Thomas Drolesky and his articles at his "Christ or Chaos web site moved me from the Recognize & Resist position to the Sede camp. Love Restoration Radio! Platinum Member supporting our Traditional Troops and looking forward to Father Uttley returning in season 5!!!!
Interests/Hobbies:
Waiting for the train to pull out of this valley of tears BUT in the meantime: reading, writing, singing, listening to music on my Magnapans as loud as I want when The Cat is away, hanging out at my friend's farm (WAY too infrequently), following the latest antics of Bo Bo the Barbarian (aka Jorge Mario Bergoglio) on Novus Ordo Watch, exercising at Planet Fitness (I'm a gym junkie), chasing the grandkids around the playground on my fake knees (I've been born again by the plastic and the titanium), wallering my youngest grandson, Mikey, tickling my wife's funny bone, ruining my eyes surfing the net on my iPhone, driving aggressively; it's not about arriving to a particular destination sooner, it's the fun of weaving in and out , and getting to the stop light first!.

Thanks for the kind welcome! Charles, my daughter Emily--also a Trad Circle member--began asking questions about the Protestant faith her dad and I had raised her in. Her questions were compelling as were the answers she was receiving on topics such as the "once saved, always saved" Protestant belief, the incomplete Protestant bible, and how each Protestant believer's holy spirit helps them to interpret scripture in countless contradictory ways. I joined her study of these and other topics, seeking the Truth from both sides. Early on, it became evident to me that the Catholic Church represented the Truth and offered completely sensible answers to all of my questions. Then came the study of Vatican II. When I began attending an RCIA class and reading the new catechism, it seems that the new catholic church was amazingly similar to Protestantism. RED FLAG!! Again, daughter Emily introduced me to the traditional Catholic Church. That's my story in a nutshell and thanks for asking!
Yes, Joseph, plenty of good food!
I worked 9 to almost 9 on Friday without lunch or dinner.
When I got home and opened the fridge door, a pyrex bowl with beautiful slices of smoked turkey was right at eye level.
Since it was a day of abstinence I had to go to plan B (cranberry snow cap).
I love our Catholic Faith but it was a lot easier being a Novus Ordite the day after Thanksgiving!
Hope you were able to be with your family and enjoy a great meal. --- Dave Heimlich
Howdy doody. Sounded like you had a good Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the welcome.
Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Heimlich!!! It's great to see a someone from Illinois join!!!
Did you know that there is a Mission in Milledgeville, Illinois? We usually have Mass once a month in a rented hall. It would be great if you could make it! My family would like to meet some Traditional Catholics!!!
