About Me:
I am 4000 miles into a bicycle trip around the world. Crazyguyonabike.com/doc/Kenrtw is where I am posting pics and a journal. I have been a teacher since 1996. I worked as an elementary teacher until a couple of years ago when I switched to special education. I love what I do but would highly recommend that people that can to homeschool rather than send a child to a public school. I grew up NO and have a BA in NO Theology. I was sent to convert a sedevacantist family many years ago and was converted myself. Life has been challenging because of that change, but I am a sufficiently stubborn person that I am not changing on that matter. I bought a house near Seattle/Tacoma on an island Herron Island at the end of April. It is to be my summer home as I continue to teach in Alaska. I just started a new year in Arctic Village, AK about 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle in a village of 150 people, with no road access, with the next village 90 miles away or so. The beauty is incredible. I can't wait for a priest to visit me up here- possibly it would be the first time a Catholic priest has ever been here. If one does not come I will look forward to Christmas break and summer to assist at Mass in San Diego, Seattle/Tacoma, and hopefully visit Tijuana ( I was at the ordination of Fr. Carlos in Hermosillo in 2002) - I hope you can gather I love to travel- I am looking forward to snow- hopefully in the next month (it is Sep. 12/2015) and getting to ride my new to me snowmachine to see up close the mountains in the distance around the school.
Interests/Hobbies:
I love to get outside. I like to read, bake, cook, and find ways to fix stuff, but I also like being in nature and living in beautiful places.

I am riding San Diego to DC
Fly to Siberia, go west to Europe, down Africa, fly to Western Australia, ride along southern coast to Sydney, fly to Alaska ride south to Argentina, boat to Antarctica -probaby not much riding down there - but I want to be there - hopefully my wanderlust will be lessened by then.
Ken
Wow, so I'm assuming you're going around the earth from top (Alaska) to bottom (Tierra del Fuego/South America) and then back up via Australia, etc., and Russia? Or are you going the Africa/Europe route?
The naval chapel in California is shared with the SSPX; they have it at 4:00pm. I wonder if they have Corpus Christi processions too.
Thanks for the comment. I've been once before and will be going again.
As for where I go to mass - right now the closest is about 4 1/2 hours away by car in Brooksville but most of my life we've had to fly a priest to say mass for us. When I was little my grandfather had a chapel in his home in Chicago. If only I knew and understood the true blessing that was!!!
Welcome!
