About Me:
I was born in Canada to Traditional Catholic parents and attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Academy in Warren, MI for several years before it closed (Bishop Sanborn). I was home-schooled through high school. I have a bachelor's degree in business with a marketing major and a digital graphics minor. I am slowly getting out of being self employed as a dressmaker/fashion designer specializing in modest clothing, particularly wedding dresses. For the last few years I've mostly been making more church vestments and altar linens. I used to teach remedial math to adults at a local college a couple days a week, but they changed the accreditation requirements so I could not continue teaching there. Then I worked as an English tutor for special needs people at a community college, while also teaching high school algebra for a homeschooling family. I taught some combination of 3rd through 6th grade at St. Gertrude the Great School near Cincinnati, OH, for 5 years in addition to high school English, art for the younger grades, and sewing/art/home ec for the older girls.
I am the YAGermeister as of summer 2017, so fair warning - if we get talking, or start dating, and things don't work out, I will probably set you up with one of my friends. And the odds are fairly high that you will end up marrying her, lol.
Currently work at Fortis College of Cincinnati. Used to work in weddings but the industry is crazy.
My Prince Charming's horse is a big blue semi truck. ☺
I'm the oldest of 7 kids, with one brother a priest (yes, that Fr. Eldracher) and one sister in the convent (Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas) out of a total of 4 boys and 3 girls, so be prepared for some serious teasing! Oh, and we're all sort of giants, too...I'm the second shortest at 5 ft. 9 in. tall. Never been petite, sorry...except maybe when I was a baby.
Interests/Hobbies:
Stunningly modest fashion, photography, art, reading good books, writing historical fiction (none published yet), singing alto & tenor in the church choir, Japanese (Spanish and French are nice, too), square dancing, English Country Dancing. Bike riding and rollerblading when I get the chance, canoeing, HORSEBACK RIDING, history from a Catholic perspective, travel. Not a big fan of superheroes, although I'd have to say my favorite is probably Andrew Garfield's Spider Man, and even though Loki doesn't count Tom Hiddleston is the best villain EVER, haha.

Hi Colleen! I loved your pictures - congrats on the ordination of your brother -- when was that? Does your family live in Brooksville or Cincinnati? Recently we visited Brooksville and fell in love with it!
Sorry, i deleted the photo with the “that is real...” comment you made. Check out the first photo i posted for the manufacturers website.
Domo arigato gozaimasu, Kaze-senpai! :)
First Mass with your brother, and our resident priest, Fr. Eldracher, this Sunday! :)
What do you do at SGG now?
Do you know where Father Eldracher will be working, or if he is staying at the Seminary as a professor?
Hey Colleen, do you have any pictures of your brother's Ordination to share?! :)
Happy Birthday! I know it's in a couple of days, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling. :)
